I am going on an overseas adventure with Moley and Mitch!

I am going to London and Norway and Croatia for 4 whole weeks.

Today I was just minding my own business when I suddenly got stuck in a lavender bush! I didn't mean too, but I'm only little. Luckily, being an orangutangle I managed to get out. Here's what happened.

The best thing for you now is hot peanut butter and Gossip Girl in bed.

My Secret Recipe - FRIED BANANAS!

BJ Tiger is coming over for dessert tonight so I am making my all time favourite dessert - FRIED BANANAS!

I guarantee that it is so delicious that you will flip. Moley is always asking me to make it.

Here is what you do:

1. Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. You will need, 1 very, very ripe banana (the riper the better), some butter and some thick cream.

2. Peel the banana and slice it long ways.

3. Get the butter melting in a frying pan.

4. Fry the long banana slices until golden.

5. If you have a special date I recommend serving the dessert in a human funny face with creamy white hair (BJ Tiger loves this).

Hi Guys!

Can you believe it. Mitch has put me to work in the kitchen already. I thought I was on holidays but Mitch wants to make some hot cross buns and obviously needs my help.

Here's what you do:

1. Pour in some milk

2. Get the other ingredients

Gran is this an industrial kitchen?

3.Mix everything together

3. Grate in some zest

ummmm....

4. Weigh the sultanas in the little scales and add them to the mixture.

5. Knead the dough into a big ball and let it sit
6. A bit later, pat into little balls.

7. Paint on the hot crosses.

And finally put on trays in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

They make it with real bananas, a bit of milk and a bit of yoghurt - just the way I like it.

Today I went over to my friends' house - Simba and Sakura.

They are chocolate labs with white bellys.

Simba also wears one white sock (but he never washes it).

They were so happy to see me.

We went for a walk - which is their all time favourite activity by far.

They have to wear harnesses because they get side tracked very easily.

Just enjoying some Hokey Pokeys with a glass of milk and a banana for a midnight snack.

Mitch said she knows about the hokey pokeys from when she was tiny in New Zealand, but I am not sure that she does because she made them for Moley once and they were not exactly something to write home about. I used a recipe from Edmonds Cookbook - an old kiwi favourite from my friend Emauha the hedgehog who lives in Auckland and loves to bake.

Hokey Pokeys are very delicious and quick and easy- if you would like the recipe just email me.

Oh hi guys! I am really late for work today I even have to catch the bus because I don't have time to walk. Ziggy came over this morning and just completely refused to leave , plus Mitch was being a crampypamps and said I couldn't call Moley until after work.

It was a real circus this morning.

In my case I have my nappy (I didn't have time to get dressed), my telephone, my bus money and 1/2 a banana for Pamela to make up for being late. I think she will accept that.

Big news!

My new nappy has arrived all the way from New York which is my home town other than the jungle. I bought this at the internet shop The Selby (http://theselby.com/). I chose this design because it has a special baby animals design by Philip Smiley (and I think his gigantic rabbit helped too) that was made exclusively for Todd Selby.

I loved this design straight away because it features a baby orangutangle (wearing a plain white nappy) like me:

... and it also features a baby sausage dog (wearing a spotty bandana neck tie) like my friend Sausage. Plus it has lots of other baby animals from the animal kingdom:

Tonight I went out for some delicious Asian food for dinner down the road.

Look at this ginormous wheel of red cheese I found in the fridge! Sometimes Moley says Mitch is a miece so that must be why she got so much.

Hi Guys! Here I am at the Oscar party for the Oscars.

The cinema up the road put on a big party for the occassion. I wore my pink velvet chain headband and a big bowtie that I designed and made myself. I took Sausage with me as my guest. He does not get out very much Sausage but he loves the movies so this was his kind of party!

Mitch has a puff pastry eyelid!

It puffed up like a puff pastry in the middle of the night and woke her up!

So this weekend I have come with her to her human parents house to take care of her.

Luckily I used to be an optometrist so I know exactly what to do.
I am prescribing shut eye, round eye patches and 2 small banana muffins.

Don't worry Mitch you will be better in no time.

Do you like my new nappy?! It is pale blue and is a kind of paisley print on beautiful heavy cotton.

I found it in the drawer under the bed that has Mitch's knickers in it! She thinks I'm wearing an old hanky but I don't know what she's talking about - it fits me perfectly and orangutangle's don't need hankys! Plus, it even has my letter H for Henry on it, see look:

I knew you would get it! I used to be a recruiter you see so I worked with my friend Julie the ginger cat and spoke with Pippa Pear and Dr Wilson.

In today's economic economy this is worth a major celebration.

Mitch is already celebrating by eating her spaghetti pesto lunch for dinner! I am going to have some of that and a banana which I am willing to share with you Moley.

Monday Cat Fight!

Didn't really feel like going to Pamela's today so stayed home with Mitch to just laze around.

Boy am I glad that I did! You should have seen what happened.

Gidget and Sasha had a HUGE fight. Sasha chased poor Gidget all around the yard at lightening speed - Gidget is a bit fat so running is hard for her. Meanwhile the twins were trying to join in too and were told the whole neighbourhod about it at the top of their lungs.

Then to get back at Sasha Gidget hissed like a tiger right in her face and was about to get her claws out I think. Luckily I was there to break it up and talk some sense into them. So we are all buddies again and they have forgotten that I stood them up on Valentines day.

Sausage has given me some valentines tips. He said that all you have to do is turn up with chocolates and roses.

So I'm just putting my love cakes into my little case so I can take them with me.

I got some tiny red roses from Norris who sells the flowers in big buckets down at Rosalie Gourmet Market.

Now I'm off.

Uh oh. Ummm. What's the time? I think I may have double booked.

Gidget's coming over for dinner at 7, I'm taking Sasha out for dinner at 6:30, BJ Tiger and I are going on a picnic at 7, I told Ziggy we would have hot chocolate at 8, I think Willow's waiting at the movies for me now, and Piper invited me over to his place for a bbq (I don't think he knows any girls yet).

Ummmmmmm...mmmmmmmm...mmmmm..mmmm.

I think what I might do is just take these love cakes over to Sausage's house and have a cup of tea with him.

I'm just making some love cakes for my dates tonight. This is what you do:

Put this in here...

And this in here....

It's a good idea to check if the chocolate is okay before it goes into the love cakes.

Put them into little cake pots.

Then what you need to put on your oven mitts and put them inside the oven for a few minutes.

Be careful not to drop them.

Mmmmm. I think they're ready.

Ummmm, Mitch, I think Willow said shes coming over to do the dishes.

I better go and get ready for my dates tonight...

Mitch and I have been fighting over these two pink and green socks that Moley sent over from somewhere in, ummmmm Arabia I think.
The socks have 3D puppy rabbits with pink noses and red bow ties on them.

We have decided to share but as you can see they are clearly orangutangle socks - they fit me perfectly! Thank you Moley!

Since it is so boiling hot here the cinemas are very busy at the moment because going to the movies is like going to the arctic. I'm just taking some fruit salad up the paper bark tree to Mr & Mrs Possum.

Mrs Possum has the flu and her family are really squawking so I think they will love this.

It is kiwi fruit and nectarine fruit salad (sorry I ate all the bananas). All the Possums like it soft and mushy - not just the babies. Ewwwwww.

The new munch bunches books have arrived! I have been very busy cataloguing them into a library.

To celebrate I have decided to wear my Karen Walker fruit salad face maxi dress which is just perfect for this kind of occassion.

I would have to say that Karen Walker is in my favourite and the very best fashion designers in the entire world because she makes fun clothes that are never too boring. She makes things such as fruit salad faces, beautiful red beanies, to die for red velvet pants, horse rider outfits, super-cool sunglasses and lovely jewellery pieces with little animals.

Also Karen Walker is a kiwi like Mitch and like my friend Wiremu (Wi-re-moo) who is actually a real kiwi.

Radish Babies and Hot Potatoes

Hi guys. I have decided to have a sniff around the place this afternoon. Look at what I found:

A big blue punnet of growing radishes! These are just new born babies - only their leafy green hair has sprouted out of the seeds so far.

... and these various types of potatoes. These are fully grown now. I helped out by digging them up. As you can see, I'm practically an expert at this because of my paddle hands.

What I want to know is why the garden is all in boxes?? Now I wonder where the banana trees are?... ...

Hi guys. This morning I'm off to see my friends Winnie and Benji the poodleoos. They live up the hill near Mitch's parents. I think we're going to jump in puddles and just have a general play in the neighbourhood. I put my raincoat and rainhat on so that my fur doesn't get too muddy - and also because they can be quite slobbery.

I am actually a fashion designer, pattern maker, seamstress, model, embroiderer and milliner so this rainy day outfit is one of my own designs.
